POSITION SUMMARY
The ILS Project Manager works on the FFG program management team supervising integrated logistics support (ILS) aspects of the FFG program. This work includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and analyzing program requirements and information, chairing meetings/devising agendas, preparing proposals, supporting the change and configuration management process and developing briefings and other material necessary to communicate Program Manager guidance and recommendations. The individual is expected to have an ability to read, interpret, and clearly present complex information; interact with customers, partners, and colleagues; listen well; keep the senior leadership team well-informed; and, resolve issues identified by stakeholders. This position will be heavily involved with implementing Condition-Based Maintenance requirements for the FFG program on behalf of the PMO organization, and will provide managerial oversight to this effort in the construction, post-delivery, and sustainment phases.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc. Personal protection equipment i.e. hard hat, hearing protection and steal toed boots are required.
