Ranger:

What you'll do:

Breath in the fresh air, smell campfires and feel the reward of accomplishing daily tasks and work with other departments if they need help. We want team members who treat our campground as if it were their own. You keep everything here running smoothly for our guests. The Campground Ranger position at Tranquil Timbers Campground will include some walking, driving a golf cart, patrolling the grounds of the campground, checking buildings to ensure they present well to our guests and are locked and secured. The bigger part of this position is interacting with our guests in a positive manner. You will answer questions, enforcing rules and ensure the safety of our guests and their belongings. The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regards to local, state and federal law. You will have the opportunity to help in other departments as needed. This position requires working weekend evenings and holidays on a regular basis. This is a seasonal position from May to November. Looking for more than just weekends? May be able to offer additional hours for the right person willing to learn additional positions.

Your job will include:

Communicate to manager, fill out daily reports.

A focus on customer service and guest interaction in a professional manner.

Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.

Ensure that the property is properly secured and safe

Ensure that guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern and contact law enforcement if necessary.

Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate if access is acceptable.

Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.

Prioritize guest safety and happiness.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Attend staff meetings.

Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Skills & experience you need:

Basic reading, writing, math skills and the ability to use computer applications.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.

Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.

Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment, is a benefit.

Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to working evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
